Borrego Area Medical Payments

Dear Valued Providers:

This notice is to inform you that on November 20, 2020, the Department of Healthcare Services (DCHS) directed Molina and its Network contracted with Borrego Community Health Foundation to suspend all Medi-Cal payments to all facilities affiliated with

Borrego Community Health Foundation (BCHF) effective November 18, 2020. Pursuant to the Welfare and Institutions Code, section 14107.00 and the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, section 455.23

This directive to suspend Medi-Cal Payments includes but is not limited to the following NPI numbers listed below:

Delegated entities must ensure that:

Any prepaid capitation arrangements do not conflict with this reimbursement prohibition and are consistent with state and federal requirements; and
All necessary steps have been taken to ensure that Molina members continue to receive timely access to all medically necessary care.
